Happy Thanksgiving folks! Hope you all have a wonderful holiday this year. We do have so much to be thankful for, and are so blessed. God sure is good, with new blessings each day.
At Church this morning, our Pastor was preaching in thankfulness. One thing he mentioned was about a convenience curse. With the modern age we are in, everything is so available anywhere, we take it all for granted so much. People start to complain when things that are so convenient don't work properly. Instead of whining and complaining, we need to be thankful for all the things we have, and for the blessings God bestows upon us. The world would be a much better place if we were more thankful, so we can at least do our part and be thankful ourselves. What a wonderful God we have!
Sometimes I just think about being a Christian, and the life I have in Christ, and all my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, it is so amazing what Christ has done. Just the blessing to have Christian friends, to be able to talk about God freely, to have the same faith in Christ, rejoice in others' victories, sorrow with them in hard times, and love them in Christ, makes the Christian walk so much easier to know there are others praying and even experience similar circumstances at times. God is SOOOOO good.

We are having our big Thanksgiving meal tomorrow, with all the trimmings! I'll post pictures later in the day tomorrow. I have to work in the morning, but in the afternoon i'll just enjoy time with family and food. *You should know this but I do love to eat* Turkey and potatoes and stuffing and gravy and pumpkin pie with whipped cream and......! mmmmmmm so good.
