a pivotal season in the year.
Links summer to winter, always does,
Tells us Christmas is coming near.
The cooler northern wind has come
and brings out all our warmer coats.
We know the season's just begun
when leaves down from the treetops float.
Red and yellow, orange and brown,
Trees transform before our eyes.
Pumpkins grow up from the ground,
What we need for pumpkin pies.
Friends and family celebrate,
thankful for how God has blessed.
All that turkey's really great,
but surely stuffing is the best.
Days get shorter, nights are longer,
morning frosting on the ground.
Mighty wind, ever stronger,
listen to his howling sound.
Autumn, Autumn, you are here,
just begun but soon to end.
Take each moment, make it dear.
Really, Autumn is our friend!

Just imagine this scene with not green leaves on the trees but a mix of yellow and red and orange! |
Just saw this guy and wanted some pictures. He cooperated too! |
Wow Josiah, I love that poem! AUTUMN! <3 Ah, I can't believe it's here already!

This is my favorite part, so true! :)
And the pictures are so pretty too! This has made me so very extra happy about Fall.
